Watching and listening to my friend, John Blangero, throughout the making of “Delta Tales” has been nothing short of amazing. It’s hard to grasp the amount of time, effort and talent involved in the process of making a record. I look forward to bringing you into the loop as he embarks on the journey to his next album.
My name is Karyn Mueller, and I am a longtime friend of John Blangero (aka Sun King Rising). We both grew up in New Castle, PA and we have been friends since Senior High. So, I think I know him pretty well!
When Ace asked me to take on The Lowdown as a project, I immediately said yes! My hope is to bring you closer to Sun King Rising (thus, John himself) by sharing my insights with you as he undertakes the process of making his next record. God willing, John will get out on the road with the Sun King Rising Band later this year.
